For general surfaces, floors, glass and waiting areas we use electrolysed water — hypochlorous acid (HOCl) generated on site from water and a trace of salt. It is GECA-certified and TGA-listed, and it reverts to plain salt water after use, leaving no hazardous residue. Stabilised aqueous ozone handles many routine cleaning tasks and breaks down to oxygen and water. Dry steam provides low-moisture thermal decontamination for grouting, fixtures and detailing where heat does the work instead of chemistry.

Underpinning all of it is colour-coded microfibre with disciplined dwell times, so there is no cross-contamination between clinical, general and sanitary zones. Where the standard requires a listed disinfectant, we use one — and we log it. The honest framing here matters: we say no added synthetic chemicals and no hazardous residue on the surfaces cleaned that way. We never claim chemical-free, because your TGA-listed disinfectants are, by design, chemicals doing exactly the job they are certified for.

The compliance angle for decision-makers

There is a regulatory clock running. From 1 December 2026, enforceable Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) replace the current WES across roughly 700 reviewed chemicals. Elimination sits at the very top of the WHS hierarchy of controls — and you cannot exceed an exposure limit for a substance you have removed from the room.
